Privacy Policy

This policy explains how 1Product handles information when you visit the site, create an account, run product research, save reports, or use paid features. If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the service.
Information we collect
Account and authentication information
We collect your email address, account creation and login times, email-verification status, and security records used to keep you signed in. Passwords are stored as hashes, not as readable passwords. If you use an external sign-in option, we store the stable account identifier and email information returned by that sign-in service.
Research and report information
We store the product terms you search, optional estimated unit costs, the report sections you request, the returned market data, computed scores, coverage and timing information, and report titles, notes, and archive status. Reports are associated with your account.
Billing and usage information
We store credit balances and transactions, plan and subscription status, billing-period dates, and identifiers that connect your account to the hosted checkout service. Payment card details are collected by the checkout provider and are not stored by 1Product.
Technical information
The service may process IP addresses, request times, browser and device information, error details, and security or rate-limit events in server logs. We use essential session cookies for authentication. Theme and navigation preferences are stored locally in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics by default.
How we use information
- Provide accounts, run requested research, calculate scores, and save private reports.
- Manage credits, subscriptions, trials, payments, and account communications.
- Protect the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce the Terms of Service.
How information is shared
We share information only as needed to operate the service. This can include infrastructure, database, email, identity, billing, and market-data services configured for the deployment. Product search terms and related request context may be sent to configured market-data services so they can return the research you requested. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer.
1Product does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Reports remain in your account until you delete them. Deleting a report removes its report record, score, and stored source snapshots; shared product history and credit-ledger records are not removed by deleting a single report. We retain account and billing records while needed to provide the service and may keep limited records longer when required for security, dispute resolution, accounting, or law.
To request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account information, email support@oneproduct.dev. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including hashed passwords, hashed single-use verification and refresh tokens, access controls, and account-scoped report access. No system can guarantee absolute security.
International use and children
Service providers may process information in countries other than yours. 1Product is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be announced through the service or by email.
